Creative Memories was founded in 1987.  When cofounder Rhonda Anderson began teaching mother’s’ group about her family’s tradition of preserving photos and stories in keepsake albums, many of these mothers never thought about putting together an album.  Later, Rhonda Anderson called a company in Minnesota that specialized in making albums, Cheryl Lightle, the company executive, picked up the phone and took Rhonda’s large album order.  Cheryl was intrigued by Rhonda’s order and the two began to talk and that one phone call became their vision of helping people celebrating memories and telling their life stories in albums.

I love to help people to realize how important it is to put their photos in an album, or digital book, in order to share those photos and the stories that go with those photos.  Most important, it’s so easy to put an album together when using a great product that has many options that fits a person’s personality.  And, using a quality product to preserve those photos is very important also.  That is why I believe so much in Creative Memories, they test their products and stand behind everything that they sell.
